Seductive Tori Amos influenced guitar pop, spurred on by the spirit of Chicks On Speed is what this Swedish, female dominated quartet thrusts upon us and initially you find difficult to refuse. The album contains an even tempo or is very samey, depending on what side of bed you got out of. The seedy nature of lust and love, as well as the tempestuousness of modern relationships is delved into with the

exuberance a young kid into a lucky dip, a few such tracks being; ‘Who Do You Dance For?’, ‘Empty Heart’ and ‘Stay/Stay Away’.

Singer Maria Andersson gives enthusiasm and spirit to her role, but her style is a tad one dimensional and tends to grate on you as the album progresses. Kiss & Tell is the band’s third album and if you lapped up the other two then ‘Kiss & Tell’ is for you. However, I do not think they will win over too news many fans, as this offering does tend to retrace already well trodden steps.
