Rufus Wainwright releases a special edition album entitled 'Want' on Polydor Records, November 28th to coincide with his forthcoming UK tour. A 2-CD set comprising both the critically acclaimed 'Want One' and 'Want Two', the album also features two previously unreleased new tracks and new sleeve artwork. The extra tracks are:

• 'Chelsea Hotel No.2'
This song was written by Leonard Cohen and is a live recording from his 'Came So Far For Beauty'
tribute tour, which featured a host of artists including Nick Cave, Linda & Teddy Thompson, Martha Wainwright and the McGarrigle sisters. The tour took place in Sydney and Brooklyn before closing in Brighton, where this live version was recorded.

• 'In With The Ladies'
Co-written by Rufus Wainwright and Alex Gifford of the Propellerheads who also produced the track, this song was originally recorded in New York as part of the Want One and Two sessions but was omitted from the final releases.

Recorded in London and New York, both 'Want' albums were written by Rufus Wainwright and produced by the highly respected Marius de Vries.

Originally released in Autumn 2003, the meticulously layered and richly textured 'Want One' first came to prominence and enjoyed critical success after Spring 2004 when Rufus had toured the country and released the single 'I Don't Know What It Is'.

'Want Two' followed in March 2005 with more critical acclaim and looks set to appear in several album of the year lists. An undisputable must-have, it features guest vocals from both Antony (of Mercury Music Prize winners Antony & The Johnsons) and Martha Wainwright.

2005 has been quite a year for Rufus. After touring Europe with Keane in March, he spent the rest of the year touring individually to widespread
critical acclaim and performed at several major summer events including
the Wireless festival and this year'
s Glastonbury Festival – of which he was one of the main highlights. Rufus will tour the UK again this November with special guests Guillemots. The Dates Are:
