The Rosie Taylor Project release their debut single 'Black And White Films' with B side 'Maps For Lost Lovers' on Bad Sneakers Records on 3rd September 2007.
The Rosie Taylor Project were born in August 2006. Their soft and melodic tones have been flowing quietly from a cosy corner of Leeds for a short, but wonderful period. What started out as an alternative country rock band has turned into something altogether more honest; heartfelt songs of love and loss with an assured pop sensibility. Think melodic acoustic pop with beautiful melodies and infectious hooks.
Born through an unexciting mixture of boredom and whimsy the Rosie Taylor Project is a somewhat laidback attempt at an alternative country rock band. More jug-of-nowt than juggernaut the soft, melodic tones of this all too attractive group have been flowing quietly from a cosy corner of Leeds for a short, but wonderful period. The various members brought with them a menagerie of influences, engulfing all aspects of the musical spectrum.
The band have recently appeared in session on BBC 6 Music's Marc Riley show.
