Wolverhampton, punk-pop, juveniles Ripchord release their new single Backstabber through 1965 Records on 14th May. Produced by Ian Broudie and recorded at Elevator Studios in Liverpool. The band, who recently supported Kaiser Chiefs and head out this month with The Twang, will tour as special guests to Mumm Ra in April.

The band recently featured alongside The Twang and The Enemy in a NME feature on the area. The band has already notched up an impressive number of support slots, having played with Babyshambles, The Kooks, Bromheads Jacket and The View.
