The second single to be taken from Richard Ashcroft's hit new album 'Keys To The World', 'Music Is Power' is an upbeat, feel-good soul song built around an inspired Curtis Mayfield sample. With 'Keys To The World', his third album post The Verve, Ashcroft is currently enjoying the most successful period of his solo career. 'Break The Night With Colour', the first single, entered the charts at No. 3 and stayed in the Top 20 for four weeks, and 'Keys To The World', released in January, has already gone platinum.

Ashcroft embarks on his second sold out tour of the year in May, including three nights at Brixton Academy. Later in the summer he'll play his biggest ever solo headlining show at Manchester Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Saturday June 17th. He will also appear at the Isle Of Wight Festival and T In The Park Festival, where he will headline the NME stage.
