| 6. Various “Long Time Dead Sampler 2” (12" - Talkin Loud) |
| Along with every self respecting film these days there also seems to be a well hyped and well a&r-ed soundtrack – chosen most specifically with the intention of pleasing a trend influenced audience.
Super scary new horror film “Long Time Dead” is no exception. Already one release down (featuring Dj Krust, Raw Deal and Leftfield’s Neil Barnes) the film soundtrack has secured certain positions in the charts. Sampler 2 has three cuts, and only one that sounds particularly gruesome; DBX’s “The Theme” a bass driven drum and bass number with loads of film type horror exerts. The other two track’s MJ Cole’s “Nextisms” and Ed Case’s “Life’s Too Short” are none too horror, but good enough regardless. |
