4. Snowblind “Easy Girl” (12" - (Heavenly))
Wah hey, a band who sing in a Northern accent, well bit’s of it anyway. “Easy Girl” is the follow up to Snowblind’s debut single, “Cut”, released earlier this year and the forerunner to their debut album “The Falls”. The Manchester duo have come up with a springy happy bopper that skips happily amidst a chorus of acoustic guitars, harmonies and trumpets.
Not the most original tune out there and the vocal is just a touch too hermaphrodite but nevertheless it’s bound to have all the kids flicking their flowery skirts and frolicking in the sunshine.
