| 2. Blue Light Fever “Shutdown” (12" - S:alt) |
| As a classically trained pianist and cellist Matt Preston is a man who can boast a more traditional musical background than most. Not that this, his first single for S:alt, displays any of that traditional instrumentation. Here, his love of “evil music” (?) shows through. It’s a four part, lo-fi journey with rock, electronica and deep basslines – an impressively gruesome epic that has no doubt got a story hidden in amongst it, somewhere. |
