| 1.The Streets “Has It Come To This” Locked On |
| This track is already seeing support from most of the top bod DJs– and rightly so because it’s not often that a track of this calibre reaches your eardrums. With a rap vocal more akin to a Quadraphenia scooterboy than a Bronx b-boy, this is the vocal of the London underground, the sound of the pirate radio phenomenon. Rough edged but with a smooth jazz backdrop it’s an indication that we will be hearing a lot more quality material from its twenty two year old creator Mike Skinner. This could be the start of something very big indeed. |
