| 1.Slam “Lifetimes” (Soma) |
| Slam are a crew known for releasing quality rather than quantity and this, the first single to be taken from their massively acclaimed second album “Alien Radio” (released on 11th June 2001) is no exception. A dark, bass heavy song with reverberations so powerful that your kindly neighbours may well have room to complain. The lightweight vocals are provided by Tyrone “Visionary” Palmer of Felix Da Housecat’s “My Life is Music” fame. This is one of those tracks that, on first listening may not sound too hot but third time around you’ll be bouncing on the sofa, screaming enthusiastically and grabbing all unsuspecting flatmates for a tearful hug. |
