| 9. S.I.Futures “We Are Not A Rock Band” (12" -(Novamute) ) |
| Man of many pseudonyms (Buckfunk 3000, Cabbage Boy, Bigfoot to name but a few) Si Begg releases his first single on Novamute. Slightly less confusing than his “Noodles:The Complete death of Cool” release, “We Are Not A Rock Band” isn’t a track you can easily ignore. It’s a hard-as-nails, four-to-the-floor, electronic shoot em up with hilarious lyrics and some blinding techno twists. Not being content with being responsible for the original Si Begg takes on the job of providing the three mixes too, using his varying pseudonyms, just to confuse matters further. |
