| 1. Solid Ground “Never Let It Go” (12" - Whole9Yards) |
| Solid Ground seem to be venturing into uncharted territory with “Never Let It Go”. The vocal has a feel of eighties punk vocalist, Poly Styrene, whilst the breaks are as hard as you like and the deep bass cuts like a Freq Nasty track. An odd concoction but it works. The charming chorus warms the heart, too. The B Side is equally as groundbreaking with an unparalleled festival of beats and some very tasty dub exerts. |
