| 4. Orbital “Illuminate” (12" - ffrr) |
| Orbital make the unlikely choice of David Grey for vocalist on their new single “Illuminate”. An odd choice it may have been, but a wrong choice – definitely not. Although they don’t go quite as far as enlisting his acoustic talents too, the vocals adds a definite edge to their distinctive sound – especially when it’s undergone the full-on vocoder treatment. Another thumbs up for the ever present and never ending Orbital. |
