| After the tragic and untimely death of singer Aaliyah in a plane crash a few months ago, Virgin Records decide to release her previously recorded album track “More Than A Woman”. And with Masters at Work on the job, the remixes are pretty much a guaranteed winner. They add their unmistakable uplifting edge plus a soulful groove that really compliments Aaliyah’s fragile and almost childlike vocal. Happy, catchy, very Roy Ayres and very Pat Metheny - it’s a fitting tribute. |
