Season Two of Rescue Me, the critically acclaimed Emmy-nominated series about the inner workings of a New York City firehouse and the emotional battles of its members, comes to DVD on 29th January 2007. Dennis Leary (The Thomas Crown Affair, Ice Age) stars as Tommy Gavin, a veteran firefighter whose life is in turmoil as he copes with the stresses and fears of his job as well the separation from his wife Janet. Season Two finds Tommy Gavin coming to terms with the havoc his drinking has caused as he struggles to get his problems under control. After leaving Engine 62 at the end of the last series, we follow Tommy as he attempts to find friendships with his new fellow firefighters at Ladder 73-Engine 336. As Tommy descends into a hell of alcohol abuse, an unlikely heavenly source seeks to help him.
