Born in the Spanish Sahara. Raised in Benidorm next to the notorious Los Pelicanos nightclub, listening to Boney M, Neil Diamond and Miguel Bose.

Whilst the Brits flocked on the first package holidays to Spain to acquire bull fighting posters and sombreros, travelling in the opposite direction Ramon’s family landed in a post punk Thatcherite Britain; where amongst the decade’s misery, things were made a lot easier thanks to Adam and the Ants, Electro and a small piece of lino.

After witnessing three seminal gigs by the Stone Roses, Throwing Muses and the New Fads a guitar was bought, tuned and played…..
