Radar released a new single '5th Columnist' on November 6th, an anthemic blast of 21st Century mechanical dub pop about innovation, complacency and conspiracy. '5th Columnist' and their debut album were produced by Dan Carey (who alongside producing the likes of Kylie & Sebastien Tellier, Lee Scratch Perry and currently Sly & Robbie) with frontman Callum Johnston and perfectly captures the bands modern digital ska-vibe and was mixed by Cox and Dring, who themselves make up the other two thirds of the Gorillaz production team alongside Dangermouse.

Radar has created a sound that is referential without ever being derivative. Instead they have absorbed, contextualized and reinvented for 2006.
Their debut album will follow in 2007, preceded by a few surprises along the way. They will also be coming live to a hall, dancefloor, tavern or disco near you very soon starting with a monthly residency at London's hugely popular YoYo club night at London's Notting Hill Arts Club throughout the month of October. The dates are as follows:
Radar are singer and multi instrumentalist Callum Johnston, guitarist Barney Monk, bassist Tom Wilson, and drummer Steve Ha
