Pull Tiger Tail's debut single is titled, Animator. An insistent song that embeds itself into the memory upon the very first listen. With Marcus' lyrics about escapism and miscommunication, it combines the rock heaviness of the currently resurgent emo movement with the poppy electronic charms of Discovery-era Daft Punk. Live, the heaviness is even more apparent - thanks to Jack's appropriately thunderous percussion, the band describe their performances as "an arms race" - with Davo turning up his bass to keep up with Jack, Marcus in turn upping the volume on his guitar. and so forth.
The band freely admit to a slightly ramshackle approach to their live sets - with bits of tape keeping the keyboards together, and on occasion employed to play a bass note on the keyboard whilst the guitar is tended to. - and that's exactly why the fun they're having translates so readily to audiences - even if, apparently, it's not supposed to work like that.

Pull Tiger Tail are Marcus (lead vocals / guitar / keyboards / stuff.), Jack (drums / backing vocals) and Davo (bass / backing vocals / keyboards / megaphone / more stuff.), three 23-year-old Londonees who grew up together in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
