Protocol are not short of the three vital ingredients to make it in the dog-eat-dog world of pop music – tunes, confidence and looks. One of the UK's most exciting new bands for 2006 are to release their new single, Where's The Pleasure?, on January 16th 2006.

Their self-penned brand of pop wizadry has won them many fans, not least through their impressive live show. They've already played live with New Order, The Bravery and Hard Fi, but John, David, Stephen, Dom and James won't be happy until they're playing to crowds of thousands at Wembley Stadium.

Singer John sums up their ambitions; "We want to make pop music cool again, and we want to be its ambassadors."

Look out for Protocol's debut album, The Rules of Engagement, due for release in spring 2006.
