Peter Kay, is set to once
again storm the DVD and video charts this Christmas, with
the release of LIVE AT THE BOLTON ALBERT HALLS, recorded
during his sell-out 180 date, 9 month UK tour .
This hilarious new show filmed in
front of his hometown Bolton audience, brilliantly demonstrates
Kay’s unique
brand of humour and his genius for comic anecdotal observation.
Not just a hero in his hometown, over 300,000 fans laughed
relentlessly as Kay performed his ‘Mum Wants A Bungalow
Tour’ at venues up and down the country.
It’s packed full of classic routines, as he reminisces
about watching 80’s TV including Jim Bowen on Bullseye: “Let’s
have a look at what you could’ve won”, owning
a Ferguson VideoStar with a wire-attached remote control
and being offered Piccalilli in a chip shop.
He accurately points out things that
happen at family weddings that everyone can relate to,
like his aunties and grandma
doing their best bent over dancing, flashy tantastic DJ’s
and people doing ‘the walking to the dance floor’ dance.
