Single Review

Wait there, whoa whoa, where's Tom Selleck, I'm hallucinating, is that man in the distance revving a Corvette? And who let Marc Almond do the soundtrack? Or is it Marc himself? It's got bite, thundering bass, arch vocodered male lead vocals and backing straight from a Toyah B-Side. It has the lyric 'I need a short sharp shock, you're my electric chair'. God, it's so 80s I think it might actually take away milk monitors. And, like all models dated circa 1983 I am innately programmed to think it is incredible, like New Order but err, you know, good. Cut Copy? Hot Chip? Who? Dance music? Make mine 80s please.

This single, like (we are)performance in general ROCKS. I found them accidentally when they backed Gary Numan and I was hooked instantly (mind you I was an 80's kid) I cant wait to get the album and I cant wait to see them again.
