Paul Weller releases a brand new single from his sixth solo studio album entitled ‘Illumination’. The single ‘It’s Written in the Stars’ is released on 2nd September 2002 through Independiente records.
‘It’s Written in the Stars’ was co-written and co-produced with Paul Weller by Noonday Underground’s Simon Dine. The single is available on 3 formats; CD1, CD2 and 10” vinyl.

CD1 (ISOM 63MS) is backed by new track ‘Push Button, Automatic’ with words written by Paul’s long-time drummer, Steve White and another Noonday Underground collaboration entitled ‘Horseshoe Drama’
.
CD2 (ISOM 63 SMS) is backed by two Jam songs, previously unheard versions, recorded live during the ‘Days of Speed’ sessions from last year’s live, acoustic album. ‘The Butterfly Collector’ recorded live at the Shepherds Bush Empire on 2 June ’01 and ‘Carnation’, recorded live at the Paradiso, Amsterdam on 7 February ’01. 10” vinyl (ISOM 63TE) contains the same tracks as CD1.

‘It’s Written in the Stars’ will be followed by the release of the new album ‘Illumination’ on 16th September.

Paul Weller will be going out live on a full UK arena tour in October. Dates as follows:
