Such is the topsy-turvy nature of the modern music set that one minute Orson were playing a cosy gig in Manchester's Academy Three. Just a few months later the swirling 'No Tomorrow' tops the singles chart and Orson are like a pair of converse trainers, everyone must've them. The song that stood out that night, 'Bright Idea' featuring Jason Pebworth's stammering vocals and a racing electro flavoured accompaniment, will indubitably continue the Californian's slightly unexpected launch. This years The Killers is a tag that many will slap straight on Orson's back, but they are more yearning and diverse than that.
