OLD SCHOOL is a raucous
new campus comedy from DreamWorks, which brings together the
writer and director of Road Trip and the producer
of National Lampoons Animal House.
Luke Wilson (The Royal Tennenbaums),
Will Ferrell (Saturday Night Live) and Vince Vaughn
(Swingers) star as a trio of thirtysomething buddies
who try to recapture the outrageous, irrepressible fun of
their college years by starting their own irregular fraternity.
Holding their own alongside the over-the-hill
frat boys are Ellen Pompeo (Daredevil), Juliette
Lewis (Cape Fear) and Elisha Cuthbert (who plays
Kiefer Sutherlands daughter-in-peril in 24).
The film also features cameos from Road Trip alumni
Sean William Scott, Andy Dick and Breckin Meyer and a full-blooded
performance by Snoop Dogg and his band.
OLD SCHOOL reunites the team behind the
hit comedy Road Trip, with Todd Phillips directing,
and also producing with Daniel Goldberg and Joe Medjuck. Ivan
Reitman (who made his producing debut with 1978s classic
National Lampoons Animal House) and Tom
Pollock are the executive producers. Todd Phillips co-wrote
the screenplay with Scot Armstrong, from a story by Court
Crandall and Phillips and Armstrong.
A DreamWorks release of a Montecito Picture
Company production, OLD SCHOOL is distributed in the UK and
Eire by United International Pictures (UK).
