'Let There Be Love'
New single released 28th November 2005
'Let There Be Love' is the third single from Oasis' double platinum selling album 'Don't Believe The Truth'. The record, widely regarded as a "return to form", has already spawned two number one singles this year, 'Lyla' and 'The Importance Of Being Idle'. In October it won Q Magazine's prestigious Album Of The Year award. The band also received the People's Choice Award at the ceremony to celebrate receiving over 230,000 votes across all the categories they had been shortlisted in.
The single is released on CD, DVD and 10" vinyl on 28th November 2005 on Big Brother Recordings. The CD and 10" will feature a brand new Noel penned track entitled 'Sittin' Here In Silence (On My Own)' which was produced and mixed by Dave Sardy. The documentary footage included on the DVD goes behind the scenes of Oasis' biggest ever world tour, which will seen them play to over 2 million people worldwide in 2005. Recorded by renowned promo director Baillie Walsh it is a taste of a longer film to come, entitled "Lord Don't Slow Me Down" and culminates in the spine-tingling new video for "Let There Be Love".

2005 has been a phenomenally successful year for Oasis, with 700,000 tickets sold in the UK and Ireland alone and a summer of sold out gigs across Europe, America and Japan under their belts. The Oasis touring machine is hitting the road once again with further European dates in late October followed by November shows in Australia and Japan. The band will bring the year to a riotous close with the twin highlights of their own UK tour and the headline slot at Noise and Confusion 05 on 10th December at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. As this show sold out in record time, 60,000 speedy fans already have their tickets to see Oasis supported by a stellar bill that includes Carling Weekend headliners Foo Fighters, The Coral and Razorlight. The band's own sold out December dates continue with Aberdeen AECC (12th), Glasgow SECC (14th and 15th), Belfast Odyssey Arena (18th and 19th) and The Point in Dublin (21st and 22nd). All of which confirms Oasis as Britain's favourite rock 'n' roll band.
