The product of their LA recording sessions with Beck and Elliot Smith producer Rob Schnapf, Not Everyone follows the previous singles Cosmopolitan and
Shot Down, which charted at 25 in February. Combining singer Sam’s disdainful outrage with discordant riffing that recalls The Pixies and Sonic Youth, it’s a tight, cathartic blast of noisy rock.
In the run up to the single’s release, Nine Black Alps will be touring the UK . After a great turn at SxSW, they’ll be performing around the country on a string of
headline dates either side of a spell as main support to Kaiser Chiefs on their tour, before making several appearances on this summer’s festival circuit.
