Nightmare Of You
The Days Go By Oh So Slow
Single Review

It's early 2006. Outside rain, snow, hail, sleet and quite possibly cats and dogs bounce off pavements while sub-arctic gales bring tears to the eyes of even the toughest Scotsman. The solution? Listen to this piece of sunny indie-pop from Nightmare of You. You'll almost be able to smell the freshly cut grass and taste the 99's.

This tale of love and longing drifts along on jangly guitars, kiddie keyboards and backing vocals by a Phil Spector girl group, all with the bittersweet joie de vivre of The Cure at their "Friday, I'm In Love"
most optimistic.

Yes it's retro, no, it won't change the world and won't break any new ground, but when a band can create a song this cute, sugary and addictive, who cares? Bring on the summer.
