NME Shockwaves tour certainly does have some cracking up and coming bands. In the case of the Mystery Jets the trend carries on, after being on this year's bill along side We Are Scientists, Arctic Monkeys and Maximo Park. This five piece from London (Twickenham) held their-own and now release their new single 'You Can't Fool Me Dennis'.

This fresh sound, which I would have to say, reminds me of a more relaxed The Coral mixed with Maximo Park. The experimental sounds along side the vocals, which do sound a bit like Paul Smith (just without the accent) brings out the outcome, and I am happy to say that is the Mystery Jets. These guys were maybe a bit unfortunate that hey were on such a big bill at the NME tour, but I think their music will get them up and are in same position this year that Bloc Party were last year!! Need I say anymore?
