'Supermassive Black Hole' is the first Muse single since the release of 'Butterflies and Hurricanes' in September 2004. Future funk via Lovesexy-era Prince, 'Supermassive Black Hole' sees the band's sound take a further illuminating detour, whilst remaining nevertheless resolutely, distinctively, effortlessly Muse.
'Supermassive Black Hole' is the first new track to be taken from the band's as yet untitled fourth studio album, recorded in America, France and Italy and mixed in the UK. Track titles that have been announced to date include Starlight, Knights Of Cydonia, Supermassive Black Hole and Soldiers' Poem.
The album is released on 3rd July.
Muse take to the road for a series of prestigious festival appearances across the globe, including headlining sets at Werchter in Belgium, Belfort in France. The band end the summer with their debut headline performance on the main stage at the UK's biggest festival, The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds.
