The Motorettes latest single is half of a split single with fellow North-East band Kubichek! Due for release on July 10th.

Whilst Kubichek! lean toward the more complex side of things, creating frantic epic post-rock soundscapes, The Motorettes keep things simple with their wall of good time rock and roll summer pop (a Joey Ramone/Brian Wilson love child made possible...) Yet The Motorettes will often experiment, and Kubichek! maintain a distinctly upbeat poppy edge.

The Motorettes explode from the vinyl first with 'Relax It's The 80's' before throwing their own into a version of Kubichek's 'Stutter'. Kubichek! open up the flip side with the marvellous 'Opening Shot' and wind it up with their unique dynamics on an interpretation of The Motorettes live favourite and set closer 'We Are Solution'.
