Written and recorded by post rockers Mogwai, and following the early 2006 record 'Mr Beast', this limited edition 2 track release is taken from the soundtrack album 'Zidane: a 21st Century Portrait'.

Never known for his pace, Zinedine Zidane relied solely on his amazing technical ability, class and natural intelligence. This double single from Mogwai seems to reflect the qualities of the top French footballer perfectly. Black Spider is a slow moving epic, with a creeping chiming quality, and the similarly sluggish Half Time relies on a muted piano arrangement among an incredible soundscape. This release does a good job of creating anticipation for the full soundtrack release (which is out now) and I would strongly advise you to check it out. Fantastic.
