Blah Blah Blah is Middleman's debut single, due for release on July 2nd 2007 through Bad Sneakers. Middleman write vibrant, catchy tunes with booming basslines, bleepy melodies and smart lyrics. They're impossible to pigeonhole & raucous live. DIY by nature, Middleman have a relentless work ethic and produce their own records, film their own videos and create their own artwork. They've also managed to rack up 130 gigs in the past twelve months.
Middleman filmed the video for Blah Blah Blah in May at Bretton Hall, the video was directed by David Lynch and Dave Aspinall.
The four piece from Leeds kicked up a storm with their self produced 3 track demo recorded in late 2006. On Radio 1 Zane Lowe gave plays and props, Steve Lamacq crowned Middleman 'Unsigned Band Of The Week' and Huw Stephens not only invited them in to record a Maida Vale session but also declared them his 'hottest tip for 2007'. The band have also been nominated for 'unsigned act of the year' on Channel Four's Freshly Squeezed.
