Maroon 5 announce the release of their second single 'Wake Up Call', another pumped up, effervescent and infectious pop smash which will come out through A&M/Octone Records on August 27th. The band will also tour the UK at the end of the year - dates below.

'Wake Up Call' will be the follow-up to the massive hit single 'Makes Me Wonder' which helped give them a #1 album in the UK chart with 'It Won't Be Soon Before Long' which has already reached platinum status.

The last album sold over ten million units worldwide, two million of which were in the UK. In 2006 the group earned another Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for a live recording of their international hit single "This Love." Known for their commitment to the environment, Maroon 5 were also honoured at the 2006 Environmental Media Awards.
