Glasgow’s Make Model are one of the most exciting bands in the UK at the moment. Yea, we hear those words muttered every other week but these guys genuinely do deserve the accolade.

Make Model is what happens when six young Glaswegians have spent too many boozy late nights on each other’s sofas listening to records and joining the dots between pop and post-rock via no wave and the odd sliver of German electronica at 3 in the morning.

As such the collective’s self-released debut single ‘LSB’/’Czech Neck’ sounds like the schizoid little brother of Big Audio Dynamite raised on a diet of limited edition LCD Soundsystem, Stereolab and Kompakt records but somehow ending up as the most ludicrously catchy artschool indie to come out of Glasgow since Franz Ferdinand.
