Heart Attack is the new single from arena-sized indie rockers Low vs Diamond, released on May 7th on Marrakesh Records.

Graced with a euphoric and expansive chorus, Heart Attack is driven and triggered by the fearsome drumming of Howie Diamond. The song cuts and breaks beneath stabbing and racing guitars and the impassioned delivery of front man Lucas Field. Tightening up beneath snare hits and guitar stabs before blowing wide open, this new single encapsulates the dramatic musical ambition that is Low vs Diamond.

It is this conviction of purpose that so grabbed audiences on the band’s first visit to the UK in January. Live, Low vs Diamond are a seductive proposition, with the winning formula of front-man Lucas Field’s unassuming statesmanlike delivery and the band’s unashamedly arena-filling sound. B-side Stand Up, is typical of the band’s defiantly epic arrangements and themes, “Stand Up… fend them away from you” beaten out by Howie’s dynamic drumming. This is complemented by an acoustic version of Life After Love recorded in a BBC 6music Tom Robinson session earlier this year.

Hailing from Seattle, residing in LA, managed by The Killers’ manager and signed to the Killers’ original label Marrakesh Records; the band’s two principal protagonists Lucas Field and Howie Diamond produce music that marries graceful elegance with rallying guitars.
