As Band Hits The Road With Hot Hot Heat

Pineapple/Atlantic recording group Louis XIV is quickly shaping up as 2005's first breakthrough rock 'n' roll success story, well in advance of their much-anticipated full-length label debut. The San Diego-based combo's "THE BEST LITTLE SECRETS ARE KEPT" arrives in stores on March 22nd.

The album's first single, "Finding Out True Love Is Blind," is
unquestionably one of the hottest new modern rock tracks in the
country. The song - currently the #2 Most Requested at Los Angeles' influential KROQ - is logging new adds weekly as it bullets up the national playlists.

A companion video for "Finding Out True Live Is Blind" was filmed at director Chris Hopewell's (Radiohead, Franz Ferdinand) Bristol, England studio. The unique clip - which blends live action and inventive post-production effects - will make its world premiere
via iTunes on Tuesday, March 8th. In the meantime, Louis XIV has been featured on MTV's "You Hear It First."

"Finding Out True Love Is Blind" is also found on Louis XIV's
Pineapple Recording Group EP, "ILLEGAL TENDER." The five-track
collection - released January 25th - continues to climb the New Artist and Alternative New Artist sales charts.

Louis XIV has just embarked on a major U.S. tour, supporting
Hot Hot Heat (see attached itinerary). The trek is set to travel
America through a March 16th gig in Houston. The band will then make an eagerly anticipated March 17th appearance at Austin, Texas' annual South By Southwest Music Festival - where they will play the prestigious BBC Radio 1 showcase at La Zona Rosa (also featuring Doves and The Futureheads). Next up for Louis XIV will be a string of West Coast headlining dates, following which they will hook up again with Hot Hot Heat for a cross-country Canadian itinerary in April.
