Manchester’s Longview, are set to release a new single
as a download and ltd 7” come May 10. The self-produced
track, a blistering version of the Depeche Mode recording ‘Stripped’,
will be the band’s first new material since the release
of their debut album, Mercury, in 2003. In addition, following
their sell out show at the Mean Fiddler earlier this year,
Longview will play a nine date headline tour of the UK in
June, including London’s Astoria on June 23.
‘Stripped’ will be available as a download complete
with artwork from Longviewmusic.co.uk and other music sites.
Payment methods will be credit card and reverse SMS at a
charge of £1 (£1.50 for SMS).
