certifiable anthem status. Hammered by both Pete Tong and Judge Jules on Radio 1 for 4 consecutive weeks, a full release is now confirmed on Positiva, expect this one to explode into the charts come August.
An unashamedly uplifting, vocal house number, ‘Little Love’ is a big record with a big heart. At its core is a lyrical agenda of peace, love, and
happiness, a constant that has remained within the house genre from its inception.
The work of Italian DJ Alex Gaudino, alongside studio partner, Jerma, ‘Little Love’ is their reworking of Coldcut vs Lisa Stansfield’s classic
‘People Hold On’. Originally an instrumental, both Alex and Jerma wanted to give the track a lyrical focus; they sought out the talents of European singer, Sharon May Linn, and the final version was born.
The original all-singing, all-dancing mix comes in a shortened radio edit for the airwaves, sitting alongside a tougher club mix, whilst the package flexes its remix muscles
with re-rubs from Soul Avengerz (a Main Room mix, plus a finely-honed Electro mix), and Pete Heller (providing a superb Old School Phela Vocal mix, and a Phela dub
for those tougher floors).
