22 year old singer songwriter Liam Frost and his five piece band, The Slowdown Family, release a new single 'The Mourners Of St. Pauls' on 5th June on Lavolta Records. Taken from Liam's recently recorded debut album, the single will also feature two exclusive new tracks, 'Into Your Arms' and 'A Fever and the Shifting' and will be accompanied by a 17 date UK headline tour.

'The Mourners Of St Pauls' is set to build on the success of Liam's sold out debut release – the gorgeous 'She Painted Pictures' EP – which was quickly snapped up by those in the know on its release in February. Having enjoyed sold out, four week residencies at London's Water Rats and Manchester's Night & Day, Liam and the band have been in the studio with producer Danton Supple (Coldplay, Doves, Morrissey). Drenched in personal tragedy, 'The Mourners…" is an unflinchingly dark yet ultimately uplifting hymn to survival and is the first release to be taken from the album sessions.

Having originally cut his teeth live alongside fellow Manc luminaries The Longcut and Nine Black Alps at the now-Seminal Akoustik Anarkhy nights, and following solo shows with the likes of Badly Drawn Boy, Stephen Fretwell and Willy Mason, Liam will be joined by The Slowdown Family in May for their first UK headline tour.
