22 year old singer songwriter Liam Frost and his five piece band, The Slowdown Family, release a new single 'The City Is At Standstill' on 28th August on Lavolta Records. The single is taken from their Danton Supple (Coldplay, Doves, Morrissey) produced debut album 'Show Me How The Spectres Dance' which will be released on 11th September. Building on the success of previous singles 'She Painted Pictures' and 'The Mourners Of St Pauls', 'The City Is At Standstill' has already received daytime Radio 1 play.

Having wowed Manchester and the capital earlier in the year with sold out residencies, and a May UK tour that included their biggest London headline show to date at The Scala, Liam Frost And The Slowdown Family will continue to spread the word at UK festivals throughout the summer. A headline tour to coincide with the album release will be announced shortly.
