Castle Donington quartet Late Of The Pier release new single 'The Bears Are Coming', on 10th March, the single will be available on limited edition 12" vinyl and digital download.

If Late Of The Pier lit up 2007 with two irrepressible sold out singles - debut single 'Space And The Woods' (Way Out West Records) and 'Bathroom Gurgle' (Moshi Moshi) - 2008 sees them set to blow the whole thing apart, as they continue to push things forwards and gleefully dance all over the boundaries between genres.

Like Bathroom Gurgle, 'The Bears Are Coming' is co-produced by the band and Erol Alkan, taking the Late Of The Pier sound to another level and brilliantly showcasing these chaotic hedonists' brand of confrontational pop. Erol is also continuing to work with the band on their forthcoming debut album. The 12" vinyl single will feature remixes from Joakim, Beyond The Wizards Sleeve and The Emperor Machine who push, pull, twist and tweak the original into a variety of stunning electronic shapes.
