Larrikin Love commence 2007 by releasing the single Well, Love Does Furnish A Life on January 22nd on Infectious Records.

Produced by Iain Gore (Babyshambles, The Ordinary Boys), Well, Love Does Furnish A Life blends the band’s unique sound with an infectious, mesmerising chorus. The single also features guest vocals courtesy of singer-songwriter Jamie T and Mechanical Bride’s Lauren Doss.

The single will also receive a digital release on January 8th with a live version plus remixes from Guillemots, Jeremy Warmsley and Goodbooks all available for download.

Well, Love Does Furnish A Life is accompanied by a fantastical video directed by Canadian director Drew Lightfoot. The story follows the journey of two children through an eerie, dream-like world with the narrative intercut with footage of Ed Larrikin singing as he walks through an enchanting plastic forest. Lightfoot, previously lead animator on Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, has previously directed videos for The Contantines and Guster as well as contributing to promos from The Cure and The Raconteuers.
