Kings of Leon attack the US with the album release, Aha Shake Heartbreak which is set to come out February 22nd.
Kings of Leon exploded onto the rock landscape with the release of their debut album Youth and Young Manhood in July of '03. Rarely does a new artist so quickly capture the hearts of both rock fans and the music press, and in
barely over a year the Kings not only sold 120,000 copies in the U.S. but broke through to superstar status in the U.K., where Youth sold over 400,000 copies.
The band has toured all over the world, headlined major festivals in the U.K., and this past summer went to work on their sophomore album with producer Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, The Jayhawks, Ben Kweller among many others). The
result of those sessions is Aha Shake Heartbreak, which demonstrates a new level of musical creativity for the band but also retains all the raw vitality and emotion that meade them so irresistable in the first place.
Be sure to check out their video for "Bucket" below. It's really
excellent and the boys of KOL have gotten so incredibly adorable
since they've discovered razors.
