'Is It Any Wonder?' is the debut single to be taken from Keane's forthcoming album 'Under The Iron Sea'. Following the extraordinary Irvine Welsh directed 'Atlantic' video download on 21st April, this track confirms Keane's darker, bolder return.

Their critically acclaimed debut LP 'Hopes and Fears' took the band from the renowned early nurturing of the Fierce Panda stable, to become one of the most fiercely reputable and iconic British acts of recent years. 'Is It Any Wonder?' realigns that passionate sense of Keane's trademark melody, but twists it with a grittier and angrier dynamic.

This questioning track highlights the frustrations of a generation dislocated from themselves, searching for an answer that is never there, a place that does not exist. A generation that feels powerless and disillusioned with the decisions made on behalf of them. A crisis of identity, a loss of innocence. A fairytale gone wrong.

'Is It Any Wonder?' will be released on 29th May and the album 'Under The Iron Sea' on 12th June 2006.
