Label mate of The Streets, Kano hails from London and was a key member of the city's N.A.S.T.Y. Crew. His second solo album, 'London Town', was released in September 2007 and features collaborations with Craig David, Kate Nash and on this single former Blur and Gorillaz man Damon Albarn.

Rather than glamorise gang culture like so much urban music seems to, Kano does the opposite on 'Feel Free', which makes for a refreshing change. Rapping at a fairly impressive speed, it is broken up by Albarn and a children's choir, an interesting juxtaposition that makes the track stand out from much of the genre. The result is a successful collaboration worthy of attention.
