Well, what can you say about this single? Apart from Juliette And The Licks adhere to the classic rock/pop formula in a ridiculously laughable manner. You can almost imagine the actress turned rock star Juliette Lewis walking into the record company and demanding three long-haired guys from a Guns n' Roses tribute act to play along with. It just all seems a little too forced and manufactured. Even the un-imaginative song title "Hot Kiss" and the seemingly desperate attempt to rope Dave Grohl into playing drums on the new record to try gain some much needed credibility does little to dismiss that theory.
"Desperate for a hit" would have been a far more fitting song title. Rubbish.

Please man! Clearly Colin Burrill is more interested in impressing everyone
with his in-speak waffle and clever use of language, than in admitting the
obvious: Hot Kiss ROCKS! It's so obvious you'd have to be deaf and blind,
octogenarian or completely self-obsessed to miss it.
