Becoming a word of mouth sensation on the back of three sold out Limited Edition 7"s, Jim Noir was - for the first 10 months of 2005 - the discerning music lover's best kept secret.

His take on psychedelic sunshine pop was lauded by everyone from NME to dance magazines.

A mixture of 60's inspired West Coast pop drenched with 6 part harmonies and up to the minute electronic production techniques, the most notable part of the story was that Jim wrote, played, recorded, sung and produced every single note and instrument himself. These EP's can now only be found by handing over very healthy amounts of cash to shadowy types on eBay.

Thankfully, My Dad Recordings did the honourable thing and released the choice tracks from the EP's on CD for the first time in December 2005.

The result, "Tower of Love", received lavish praise across the board and has won Jim a legion of new friends and followers.

The one thing missing in the Jim Noir story to date was live shows. But that's all about to change. To coincide with the release of the single "Key Of C" on February 20th, Jim Noir and his 5 piece band will hit the road for a series of dates around the country.
