Hendrix's Monterey concert is a vital part of rock history. This was the first ever concert with the Experience in the US. It's been 40 years since that historic gig. Who can ever forget the sequence in Wild Thing where Jimi lights his guitar on fire with lighter fluid, and then proceeds to smash his guitair into pieces. The DVD is worth its weight in gold.
