Jeepers Creepers 2 is released to rent and
buy on DVD from 19th January 2004 from Pathe Distribution
Limited
The Creeper returns for a second helping of his favorite snack
- human flesh. Set a few days after the original film, on
day 22 of its horrific 23 day feeding frenzy, The Creeper
attacks a busload of high school students in Midwest America
bringing pain & terror into their innocent young lives.
Jeepers Creepers 2 invites you further into the world of The
Creeper offering closer contact with the ghoul than the original
movie - you also get to see more elements of The Creepers
character than before. He has weapons and stuff!
Tainted with hints of all the classic slasher movies
JC 2 gives the audience what they want with out too much pussy
footing around. The characters are paper-thin, the story super-flimsy
but this is forgivable as the action is constant & thrilling.
Not the goriest of horror movies Jeepers Creepers 2 leaves
some things to your imagination e.g. you never see The Creeper
eating his victims only the abductions. Mystery can still
be used as the sharpest of fears in horror movies.
Written and directed by Victor Salva (Jeepers Creepers), and
executive produced by Francis Ford Coppola, Jeepers Creepers
2 is a jumpy, creepy ride through a night in hell.
The DVD is packed with unmissable, spine-chilling special
features including commentaries, deleted scenes, storyboards,
a 'making of' documentary, a full day set visit and digital
effects featurette.

Overall - if you are a fan of the original film or the genre
then Jeepers Creepers 2 will not disappoint. Weighing in as
a classy B-Movie that will have you hiding behind your hands
- you are taken on a rollercoaster ride of suspense with some
truly wicked jumpy moments along the way. The DVD has some
great extras which make it one for the collection.
