James Blunt is back. Three years after 'Back To Bedlam', he returns on September 3rd 2007 with his new single '1973', the first track to be taken from the keenly awaited 'All The Lost Souls'.

Recently named Radio 2's Record of the Week, the track will be available on 2-track CD, 7" vinyl and Maxi CD, each format includes brand new bonus material. Recorded in Los Angeles, both the single and album were produced and mixed by Tom Rothrock, who oversaw 'Back To Bedlam'. "For me, there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever," says James. "Having sold over 11 million albums, I know that the likelihood of doing that again is really minimal. Instead of setting that as a target, I set out to do and record something that I really enjoy, that I'm really happy with."
